Dr Craig Newman
Founder, Creator, CEO.
Craig's own experiences of domestic abuse services and resources for families led him to believe that there is a much-needed gap to be filled for people leaving toxic relationships and/or surviving abuse via the courts / control via co-parenting.

As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience as a therapist he created the Narrative Regulation therapy approach to recovering from relationship trauma.

He is passionate about helping people who have experienced abuse to find the insight and tools to escape control, to empower them to recover and to develop true self-love.

From therapist to survivor to digital programme
Craig is a multi-award winning leader of digital innovation - saving lives in epilepsy, increasing dementia assessment success worldwide and supporting NHS staff from burnout... to name a few.

Some of his international awards are here - with HSJ and BMJ awards being two of the most prestigious health awards in the UK:

Following his own experience of escaping a toxic relationship, Craig wrote the book: Get Out Get Love - to support others to understand the trauma and to self-recover. This book has already spread to 7 countries, translated into 6 languages.
The UK government, provided funding to translate this approach into a digital self-help programme - and in 2024, Get Out Get Love was launched as a digital programme.
In 2025, it was renamed - renurture:

Since it's launch, the programme was
- selected as a national leading female technology (via the UK FemTech Accelerator) 2024-2025.
- won the SW Tech Award for potential impact on the lives of people (2024)
The creation of a revolutionary recovery model - NRT

Craig is also a supervisor and trainer of other therapists / counsellors.

The model he developed, Narrative Regulation Therapy, is summarised here (in the UK 'Healthcare Counselling and Psychotherapy Journal'.

This is the first known model to detail the recovery journey from 'relationship trauma', recognising that exes continues to interfere.
