Of course! In fact this is both how we onboard an organisation and how most organisations have decided to use renurture. We have therapists, CEOs and social prescribers who have explored the programme and then chose to bring renurture into their service offer. This is difficult to answer without talking to you as services differ so much – and we are happy to talk to you. What we are hearing back – services have seen success (as have individual users) giving renurture to users who have recently left DA, for those who are on waiting lists, for those who want a thing alongside F2F therapy, for those who don’t want F2F support but want something and even for those many years outside of DA, but still with emotional need. The main learning we’ve had, the people themselves tend to feel like, “now is the time and I am ready, in need and have space”… but as outsiders, we are often unable to predict when this is for people. Asking them – and showing them renurture – is the best avenue. What we are hearing a lot – it compliments the existing offers and is not a challenge or threat to what many services currently offer. It is an addon that is flexible and available 24/7.

renurture was purposely designed to address recovery without focusing on the experience of abuse. We make almost no reference to violence or sexual assault – in the programme – and only refer to abuse as references to the concepts that they interact with (grooming, dissociation etc). In our study (60+ participants) only 1 said they felt it needed 1 to 1 support alongside (1.6% of participants). That said, the programme is self-delivered – so users can pause and pace themselves – so there is no risk of being unable to leave, if they felt they needed to. Some stats from our government funded evaluation: a. 96% said it connected with their own experience b. 89% said they’d like to continue using it in the long-term (i.e. returning to it over time) c. 96% rated it 4 stars or above (65% 5 stars) d. 93% stated that it was helpful in recovering. e. Only 1 person in all of the qualitative feedback and focus groups felt they needed 1 to 1 support – and they exited on their own – demonstrating an ability to leave. We are committed to research as a team. Already renurture has undergone an INNOVATE UK funded evaluation, with an NIHR study launching in July 2023 to explore patient engagement and response. We are developing a national NIHR bid to evaluate renurture in numerous service points. It’s not needed, renurture is standalone. That said, we know some services who complete the programme as they find it useful at a personal level and also find it helps to work with clients who are using renurture. As part of the license with an organisation, will be the ability for your whole team to complete renurture if they’d like to.

Talk to us. You'll be surprised how low the cost is - fractional compared to your current services... and likely the only option you can offer that is long-term (12 months or beyond). Cost is calculated against the size of your organisation and some thinking about who renurture might work for - so differs for all charities. We aim to give you an unlimited license, at a fraction of the cost - i.e. you won't be paying for all of the users you might be able to get into renurture.

We wrote the book as an alternate approach to the digital platform - so we are hopefully supporting eyesight, hearing, dyslexia and such - as well as personal choice. The ambition is to build multi-lingual and disability access version - but this can only grow out of the service being commissioned and paid for. We developed renurture over 5 years, as a team - and access is our main driver, but will take time, evidence and funding... so we are happy you are asking, as this confirms what we want to achieve! In 2024 - the book will be available in Arabic, Romanian and Estonian... more coming, we hope.

renurture was designed to plug gaps in services. We recognise the value of some of the amazing offers out there - the Freedom Project, the Trauma Toolkit etc. How renurture is different: • renurture is a long-term digital offer that is self-delivered (that means on the phone all of the time, freedom to repeat whatever is needed, self-paced, accessible as and when needed) • renurture is trauma informed but wholly recovery focused - working on 1. the understandings needed to process the past, 2. the methods of re-establishing emotional regulation and boundaries and 3. the work needed to get closure, personal needs awareness and self-worth. Theory informed and evaluated with real world DA service referred users. • it is for all ages, sexes and races - designed intentionally to be gender neutral and a viable alternative to F2F services or as a pathway where service access is limited. • it feels alive - we post podcasts, blogs and TikTok / Instagram reel answers to user questions, almost daily. • we believe renurture is the only digital self-delivered programme in the world, that spans a year and aims to plug intervention gaps.
